Summary

Job Description

Based at Seaton Grove, Seaton Road, Arbroath.

This job is workstyle 1.

Most of the employee's time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work e.g. Waste Operatives, Social Care Officers.

There may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week.

Seaton Grove is a residential care centre providing support to 40 permanent residents and 8 short stay respite places.

The management team is made up of the manager and 4 senior social care officers who share a duty rota.

Each member of the management team carries responsibility to manage all staff groups and are delegated responsibility to provide supervision and appraisal to individual staff members.

The management team are responsible for the accommodation and care service provided to service users, and ensuring that service standards are achieved, including consultation and involvement of service users in all aspects of their care.

The senior social care officer on duty is responsible for the unit in the manager’s absence.
