Working in a hybrid style, based at home and Dundee House office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements

You will have a Degree / Post Graduate Qualification / HND or suitable experience.

Responsibilities

You will design, build, implement and maintain the software applications supporting the businesses of the Council.

You will assist with the implementation of, and integrations to, third party supplied software applications.

You will advise in ensuring that software applications are developed and supported to maximise effective use by the Council.

The Individual

You will have a proven record of successful development and implementation of IT software solutions and of successful support of IT software solutions across a variety of modern platforms and technologies, with significant knowledge of scripting languages and of relational databases.

Strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to develop solutions to complex problems and the ability and willingness to disseminate information effectively are essential.

You will have excellent organisational skills and have the ability to work to deadlines. You will also have good customer liaison skills.

A satisfactory Basic Disclosure Scotland - Level 1 check is required.
