The post holders will be part of the Southampton ECMC based in the WISH laboratory, University Hospital Southampton.
You will be required to process a range of patient samples for storage, as well as for fresh or batched analysis within a quality management system and utilise immunomonitoring techniques. You will be required to comply with meticulous record keeping and database management for all processes undertaken, as well as fully comply with requirements of GCP for laboratories. Training will be provided where necessary. There will be the opportunity to work with other team members carrying out immunomonitoring on clinical trial samples performing flow cytometry, ELISA and ELISpot assays and bespoke immunological assays.
You will require a good understanding of the current health and safety regulations, and must undergo occupational health clearance for the job role.
The appointment is full-time, fixed term until 31st December 2025 in the first instance.
