Do you believe in creating thriving, connected, and inclusive communities?

We’re looking for someone with a passion for building connections to enable people aged over 50 living in North Yorkshire to feel heard and represented.

In this role, you will build and nurture our Age Friendly Network by hosting themed network meetings and events (both online and in person) and gathering insights that will help shape services for older people. You will collaborate with our voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) and statutory partners to represent the needs of older residents in North Yorkshire.

We’re looking for someone who can coordinate all aspects of the project, from planning events to monitoring progress and reporting impact, promoting equity, inclusion, and diversity in everything you do.

If you’re someone who can communicate effortlessly with diverse groups, show empathy and patience, build strong relationships with stakeholders and meet deadlines with a solutions-focused mindset – then we’d love to hear from you.

We value experience, skills, and enthusiasm. You'll thrive in this role if you have a background in project coordination, network facilitation, or event delivery in community settings. If you think this sounds like you, please take a look at the job description on our website www.communityfirstyorkshire.org.uk

A driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across North Yorkshire are essential.
