37 Hours per Week
The service covers the full breath of Trading Standards work from dealing with rogue traders to product safety, as well as food standards and metrology. The successful candidate will therefore need to hold the Trading Standards Practitioner Diploma (or equivalent), be working towards the Trading Standards Practitioner Diploma (TSPD) or be willing to study for this qualification.
You ideally have experience in Trading Standards or other relevant enforcement work, with transferable skills. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage a diverse workload and able to work in a team.
