An established and forward-thinking Air Conditioning and mechanical contractor based in the Midlands, specialises in design and build projects and is looking to expand its dynamic team.Your new role
We are seeking a versatile Pre-Contracts/Project Manager with experience in HVAC project management, particularly in office fit-outs. This hybrid role involves assisting in pre-contracts and tendering, as well as managing secured contracts. Key responsibilities include project planning, programming, obtaining quotes, issuing orders, site visits, overseeing installations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Over 3 years of experience in HVAC project management.
- Preferable design skills, including heat load calculations and proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with Air Conditioning systems (VRV, Splits, Close Control, Chilled Water Systems), Mechanical Ventilation Systems, Plumbing, boiler and heating works, and BMS Systems.
- Strong contract management skills, including quoting, estimation, and maintaining contract files.
- Ability to produce Method and Risk Assessments, Operational and Maintenance Manuals, and Health & Safety Files.
