Pucklechurch Primary is a wonderful village school between Bristol and Bath who are looking for a permanent Teaching Assistant and Lunch break supervisor to join our energetic, enthusiastic teaching team. To start ASAP.
The post includes 5 days per week as a teaching assistant supporting children within lessons as directed by the class teacher and also providing support to reinforce or extend learning as part of our academic and pastoral intervention program. This may change dependant on the needs of the school.
This role is in conjunction with a lunchbreak supervisor commitment. All TAs within the team work on this model which contributes hugely to the strong team ethos of the adults and the successful lunchtimes for pupils
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working within a primary school.
In return we offer:
• the opportunity to work in a school rated ‘good’ in both Ofsted and SIAMS
• a very supportive and professional team of staff
• a commitment to professional development
• enthusiastic and motivated pupils who enjoy learning.
We would encourage potential applicants to visit our school website for further information and visits to the school are encouraged.
The closing date for applications is Thursday 28th November 2024 at 9.00am.
Interviews will be held w/c 9th December 2024.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety and welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment and all appointments will be subject to appropriate vetting, including an enhanced DBS disclosure check.
Some roles may need to comply with the ‘Childcare Act 2006’ and the ‘Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009’ where additional disclosure of information will be required.
