About the role
The faculty of Business & Travel are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Programme Leader in Travel & Tourism to join the well-established team. This is an academic and practical teaching role, in which you will work closely with other Programme Leaders and Head of Area for Engineering, Business & Travel to provide high quality teaching and learning to a range of differing levels of learners.
Other job duties include:
Undertaking administrative duties related to programme.
Dealing with queries via phone, email, and letter.
Analysing data and producing reports using a range of systems.
Organising meetings, parents’ evening, and other college events.
Completing a self-assessment report to demonstrate academic achievements throughout the year and reflect upon.
Follow a comprehensive disciplinary policy with learners where required.
Maintaining records.
About the person
The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 in a Travel & tourism and have industrial knowledge. You will need to have background experience of analysing data, writing reports and be ICT competency. Prior experience working in an educational environment with an understanding and awareness of awarding bodies in education is preferred, but not essential.
