Roles & Responsibilities:
• Installing and administering multiple industries leading DevOps tools.
• Installation and configuration of monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Nagios,
Datadog, oracle enterprise monitor.
• Installing, configuring and maintaining Continuous Integration, Automation and
Configuration Management tools
• Administering one or more platforms (Linux, windows, etc) or large middleware
(WebSphere, SAP, etc).
• Development of scripts and applications to automate infrastructure tasks and
maintenance activities using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Create and maintain automated pipelines for code deployment using Maven,
Jenkins etc
• Document as-is process and architectures based on face-to-face interviews.
• Designing and deploying several applications utilizing almost all the AWS stack
focusing upon high-availability, fault tolerance, and auto-scaling in AWS Cloud
Formation
• Develops user Interfaces
• Administering environments and resources on Cloud provider (IaaS or PaaS).
• Describing and documenting end to end tools integration, Configure, operate
and maintain tools in support of complete end-to-end Software Delivery Life
Cycle to enable delivery of quality software under tight timelines.
• Designing end to end tools integration architecture, identifying ports /
connections, user types, etc.
• Generate reports using SonarQube which covers different areas of Code quality
like code coverage, potential bugs, and coding rules
• Documentation and training for users.
• Maintain and improve our deployment process, including automated
infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and software upgrades.
Skills, Qualification & Experience Required:
• Working in a fast-paced Agile delivery environment.
• Experience in installing Docker using Docker tool box
• Experience in cross platform migration, IBM AIX to AWS for oracle database
using RAC setup with flash grid
• Experience in automation framework using Ansible and certified candidate
preferred
• Migration and configuration experience for DevOps tools such as Git, Jira,
confluence, Jenkins and nexus.
• Ability to train internal or client teams in technologies (Jenkins, SonarQube,
Puppet, Fisheye, Docker, Monitoring tools like AppDynamics etc)
• Knowledge of/or experience of the following is important to us:
o Continuous Integration e.g. Jenkins, UrbanCode, SonarQube, Nexus,
Fisheye
o Containerisation e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
o Source code management tools such as GitHub, BitBucket, RTC, Jfrog
Artifactory, Fisheye, Crucible, Maven
o Cloud platforms e.g. Amazon web services EC2, Jenkins, Nagios, Docker,
Elastic load balancer, GIT hub Cloud watch, Route 53, AMI’s, IAM,
Kubernetes, ELK, Chef
o Programming Languages - Shell scripting, python
o Operating Systems - AIX, Windows servers, RedHat Linux, Ubuntu
o Automation Testing tools e.g. Ansible, JUnit
o Coding & shell scripts using languages such as Bash, Ruby, YAML
o Understanding of the Software Development Life cycle (preferably Agile)
