Position: Depot Manager
Location: Romford, Essex
Salary: £60,000 per annum + Company Car/Allowance + Private Medical Benefits + Comprehensive Pension Scheme
Our client is seeking an experienced leader to manage a key operational hub, specialising in industrial services, cleaning, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee depot operations, coordinating industrial services, emergency response, and cleaning activities.
• Ensure all operational standards and procedures are executed effectively.
• Lead and motivate a team of 25+ staff members, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Manage work orders and ensure services meet industry standards.
• Negotiate service contracts and liaise with suppliers.
• Demonstrate proficiency in commercial management.
• Essential knowledge of RAMS documentation for compliance and safety.
• Collaborate with area and regional managers to share best practices.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Essential experience in industrial cleaning services.
• IOSH or NEBOSH preferred.
• WAMITAB certification (ideal but not essential).
• Commercial management qualification.
• SMSTS Card.
• Proven managerial experience within environmental waste management or related industries.
• Proficiency in depot management, ideally within water and energy sectors.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
