Clinical Responsibilities: Collaborate with other partners to set long-term goals, growth strategies, and financial plans for the practice. Lead or participate in audits, monitor clinical standards, and ensure compliance with regulations, such as CQC requirements. Identify and manage potential risks in practice operations, including patient safety, data protection, and regulatory compliance. Maintain efficient practice operations, manage training and performance, and handle administrative duties such as processing medical reports and maintaining records. Foster a supportive environment for staff and participate in in-house and external meetings. Commit to personal and professional development, including compliance with GMC standards, annual appraisals, and revalidation processes. Act as a mentor and role model, contribute to the training of clinical staff, and stay updated on best practices in patient care and service delivery. Provide patient care following evidence-based guidelines and conduct consultations during clinical hours, including duty and out-of-hours shifts. Triage patients and manage appointments, including telephone consultations, home visits, and prescription requests. Process test results, prescribe medications, and refer patients to secondary care as necessary. Manage long-term and complex conditions, promoting healthy living and conducting necessary testing and screenings. Communicate sensitively with patients and families, ensuring understanding and compliance with treatment plans. Deliver high-quality services and participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives. Mentor staff and support team performance in alignment with healthcare policies.
