Summary

We have a new vacancy within our Highways Projects Team for a Projects Officer. This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience of working within a highway environment.

The post holder will be responsible for the management of a small team of Green Infrastructure/Tree Inspection Officers, supervision of the Annual Surface Dressing programme and supporting the provision of the Winter Service.

We are looking to recruit an individual who:
- has good knowledge and a working background in Highway Maintenance
- is proficient and confident in the use of ICT systems and associated processes
- demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
- can use problem-solving skills and provide operational solutions as required
- has a full UK driving licence

The post requires a limited degree of fluency in the Welsh language.
