As a Lead Mechanic, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of vehicles in our workshop. You will lead a team of mechanics to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
Duties
- Supervising and coordinating the work of mechanics
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and proposing solutions
- Conducting routine maintenance on vehicles
- Repairing faulty parts or systems
- Ordering necessary parts and maintaining inventory levels
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience as a mechanic in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and management
8am-5pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays when required
