Clayton Project Engineering Limited is a Mechanical & Electrical Contractor working within the water utility sector.
This role would be based from our Penistone Works located midway between Barnsley, Sheffield & Huddersfield, and would be undertaking Mechanical installation & Maintenance on sites operated by Yorkshire Water, and the more local portions of United Utilities & Severn Trent Water. This role would be reporting to the Operations Manager.
This role is a PAYE employed position, we are not looking for agency, self employed, zero hours or subcontract roles to full fill this position.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Installation of Industrial equipment found within Water Company sites, including pumps, pipework, valves, dosing equipment etc.
The Installation of Ductile Pipework, PVC pipework & other ancilliaries
To comply with the companies policies & procedures to maintain our Safety, Health, Quality & Environment Standards.
Qualifications and Skills
1) Full Manual Car / Van Driving Licence
2) Have a current relevant CSCS Gold Card
3) Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in a suitable Mechanical Qualification
Job Type: Full-time, predominently Mon to Fri, within the hours 7:00 to 5:30pm
Salary: £17.50 per hour, minimum 36.5Hrs,
Typical average hours are 36.5-48 Hours which equates to £33k-£43k dependent on hours worked. travel hours from Penistone to/from site are paid working hours.
Holidays : 32 days including stats at employee Average Hours

Expected hours: No less than 36.5 per week

Full Manual UK driving licence (required)
CSCS Gold Card (preferred)
Relevant NVQ Level 3 or higher (required)
