We are currently seeking an Estimator to join our established pre-construction team in our Bradford office.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for office and commercial fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate closely with the Estimators team and report directly to the Pre-Construction Director.
Liaise with the Design team to understand project specifications and requirements.
Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project scope and conditions.
Analyze tender documentation and client requirements to prepare comprehensive proposals.
Monitor and evaluate project costs and budget variances throughout the estimating process.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices to ensure competitive pricing.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Estimator within the office and commercial fit-out sector. Experience in Education and Healthcare projects is a plus.
Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and materials.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Local to the Bradford area is preferred.
