Summary

Role - Asset Manager

Your role will encompass:

  • Overseeing a diverse portfolio of solar parks, ensuring optimal performance, production, and profitability
  • Coordinating all aspects of operations and maintenance (O&M) activities for solar assets in cooperation with the in-house O&M department
  • Implementing and overseeing monitoring and reporting systems to track the operational performance of solar parks. Identifying and resolving performance issues to maximize energy production
  • Ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations, PPA obligations, permits, and regulatory requirements across the portfolio
  • Managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing revenue generation. Analyzing financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Identifying and mitigating operational and financial risks related to solar asset management
  • Building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, including investors, clients, regulatory authorities, and local communities
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations of the projects
  • Leading a team of asset managers, engineers, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed



What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, renewable energy)
  • At least 3 years of experience in asset management within the renewable energy industry, with a focus on solar energy
  • Strong understanding of solar park operations, maintenance, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent financial acumen and budget management skills
  • Understanding of local and international regulations and permitting requirements
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a global and diverse environment
