ICT Support Technician, Band 4 (Fixed Term - 12 months)
With digital a critical dependency in Healthcare, availability of our services is essential. At Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust the skills to develop, support and maintain our systems and services are done in house with the help of a highly motivated group of technical specialists, support engineers and specialist application support staff.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated ICT Support Technician to join our team to provide effective technical support for the resolution of ICT support calls.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract based at out Athena House site in Erdington, Birmingham. The role is Trustwide and you will also be required to travel to other sites.
The post includes the installation of end user hardware and software and the implementation of ICT systems.
The role also requires the timely update of technical documentation and asset systems used within the team.
Candidates will have excellent communication and organisational skills; you will be dealing with all staff across the Trusts’ Corporate and Clinical
Services, at all levels.
You must also have excellent up to date knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, all Windows Desktop platforms including Microsoft 365, as
well as an in depth knowledge of the MS Office suite of products.
