Pay: £31,333 a year
Hours: 7am - 4pm Monday - Thursday & Friday 7am -12pm (39 hours a week)
Location: Solihull
Permanent Role
GI pro are working with a compnay in Solihull, Client makes emergency evacuation chairs for mobility impaired people. Supply NHS, Shopping centres, Offices etc. We are looking for a TIG welder on a full time contract to join the team.
The Role: TIG Welder
- Welding stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium
- TIG welding
- Welding between up to 10mm
- General fabrication working from engineering drawings
- Using cuts drills etc
Ideal Person: TIG welder
- Experience with Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding
- Aluminium and Stainless-steel Experience (Essential)
- Fabrication and fitting experience (desirable)
- BS 4872 welder competence (Desirable)
- Any relevant Welding Training (Desirable)
- Lean Training
- Abrasive Wheels Certification (for Tungsten Grinding)
