We are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teacher with expertise in Hospitality and Health and Social Care to join our secondary school based in Leeds. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Leeds
Contract: Full-time, secondary setting
Requirements:- QTS or PGCE in Hospitality, Health and Social Care, or a related subject.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs is desirable.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Teach Hospitality and Health and Social Care to secondary students with SEMH needs.
- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet individual needs, following the full scheme of learning provided.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring all students feel supported and encouraged.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure consistent support in all classes.
- Contribute to student's social, emotional, and academic development.
