You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and you will be able to provide strong clinical leadership, act as a mentor and role model, manage complex patient care, and lead, manage and develop the pre-assessment service. You will support individuals and teams to deliver safe, high quality and effective patient care that is responsive to the needs of our patients and their families. Along the way, you'll build strong relationships with consultants, hospital senior leaders, a wide range of healthcare professionals and, of course, patients.
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, you will have extensive experience of managing pre-assessment patients for cardiac and general surgery procedures and have experience in setting up a new service, growing, developing and managing a team.

Nuffield Health Barts Hospital
We've opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital in May 2022: The City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, genecology and urology services.
Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres and Endoscopy and minor ops theatre. With 28 consultation rooms. Cardiac catheterisation lab, Oncology Day unit and full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray.
