This is an exciting opportunity to take part in the development of Postgraduate General Practice and Primary Care Education throughout the West Yorkshire region of HEEYH. The postholder will work with the Deputy Head of School and other colleagues in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions to ensure the quality of training within the scheme and specifically for ARCP's.
This post gives you the opportunity to work at a specialist level in theARCPfield within the GP School. You will be a valued specialist resource for your colleagues. You will work with the central faculty team to ensure delivery of strategic changes. You will be supported by a senior team member to deliver your role. You willbe working both with educator and programme support teams to ensure high quality delivery of training in Yorkshire and the Humber.

To support the Postgraduate Dean, Training Programme Directors will work across the spectrum of health and where relevant, social care, within the context of a team, so that the provision of education reflects changing service models. This will deliver an integrated workforce comprising individuals from a spectrum of professional and other backgrounds.
As a provider of medical education and training, Training Programme Directors should undergo an annual appraisal, with feedback on involvement in postgraduate education and training provided by the Deputy Head of School.
