Crynodeb
My client operates a multi drop medical delivery operation from a depot in the Featherstone area and they are looking for an experienced delivery driver to join their team!
The position involves delivery of prescriptions to home addresses in Yorkshire and surrounding areas. The deliveries are undertaken in a standard type (transit) van with multi temperature compartments, average 40-50 small packet deliveries per shift.
Shifts are on a weekly rotational basis as follows :
Week 1 : Start times between 6am to 9am approx - Monday to Friday.
Week 2 : Start times between 9am - 12Noon approx - Monday to Friday.
One in every 3/4 Saturdays.
You will be guaranteed 4 shifts per week - typically drivers are working a 40hr week approx. Rates of pay £11.44 per hour paid weekly
SUMMARY OF ROLE
Multi Drop Medical delivery Driver 30-50 drops per shift (dependent on area)
Full time work 4 shifts per week Mon-Fri circa 40hrs approx ( possible opportunities for extra hours/overtime where possible)
One in every 3/4 Saturdays.
Full "paid" training given
£11.44hr, paid weekly
Full training will be given.

The ideal candidate should possess a full driving license with no more than 6 minor points, be experienced in a multi drop environment (or similar) and as it is delivering medication you will need to be a conscientious and friendly individual with an eye for detail.
