Since its establishment in the UK, the company has focused on residential units, aiming to beautify our clients' homes by designing spaces that fit the size and function of each architectural area and executing them in the best way and at the lowest cost. Our services include submitting applications to relevant authorities to obtain the required planning permissions, making us a one-stop platform for managing and executing projects.

Office Location: Manchester, Altrincham.
Site Locations: Across England, especially in Manchester and Birmingham.

Are you ready to take on a dynamic and challenging role in our company and experience different types of designs in various locations? Baghdad Gate Construction Ltd is looking for an experienced and driven Construction Manager to lead the construction process of different types of construction and engineering services (Renovations, Redecorations, Extensions, etc.) with an architectural background and proficiency in using AutoCAD, 3D MAX, and Microsoft programs.

Your Mission:
As a Construction Manager, you will be the supervisor and linchpin in the successful delivery of our projects. You will manage subcontractors, ensuring day-to-day site supervision and seamless coordination of all on-site activities. Your responsibilities extend from preparing workshop drawings, logistics, and planning to client liaison, ensuring every aspect of the project is executed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare required drawings and coordinate with local authorities to obtain planning permissions.
Define and manage work scopes within sites by contacting and managing contractors and suppliers.
Secure and manage resources.
Develop and implement effective execution strategies aligned with the overall Programme Execution Plan (PEP). Maintain open communication with all stakeholders and ensure contracts are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Anticipate, manage, and resolve project issues, including risk management and budget updates.
Ensure consistency in project schedules and deliverables, reviewing contractors’ payment applications.
Foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Lead and manage the performance of contractors, ensuring all mandatory qualifications are completed.
What You Bring:

Extensive architectural and civil engineering construction knowledge and experience in delivering and managing construction and renovation projects, specifically houses and villas.
A successful track record in engaging and managing stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and other advisors.
Management experience with strong communication and management skills, including construction management, project management, financial management, change management, and facilitation.
Excellent communication, presentation, IT, and facilitation skills.
