Summary

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Pharmacist at TrustMed Pharmacy will include:

- Serving as a Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications.

- Professionally screening prescriptions and providing comprehensive counselling to patients on medication usage and general health matters.

- Engaging in continuous quality improvement processes to enhance pharmacy services and patient care.

- Supervising and providing training to other pharmacy staff to maintain high standards of practice.

Welcome to TrustMed Out-patients Pharmacy! Would you like to be part of an exciting unique opportunity? We are currently expanding two of our locations at both the Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital.

TrustMed Pharmacy is a unique opportunity for you to build your clinical knowledge as a pharmacist in an outpatient hospital setting and make valuable patient interventions in a community pharmacy-based environment. We also welcome applications from trainee pharmacists who are undertaking their exams in July 2024 with a view to starting with us when you have registered.

Requirements of the Role

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacist.

- Experience in community and/or hospital pharmacy, with a demonstrated understanding of commercial operations.

- Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to professional development.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required

- Subject to the NHS requirements of employment, including enhanced DBS check..
