Summary
Operations Manager
• Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week
• Contract length: Substantive
• Location: Brighton
• Grade: 8a + USH as worked on section 2.
• Please note- no transfers will be permitted for the first 12 months in the role.
• All OM roles are now subject to a added operational command element as part of the recruitment assessment.

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing a group of operational team leaders within their Operating Unit, they will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all clinical and non-clinical KPIs within their teams, reporting to and acting on behalf of the Operating Unit Manager when required.
The Operations Manager will provide clear direction to the operational team leaders to ensure colleagues are supported in delivering high quality patient care within the locality. The post holder will provide visible leadership and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and safe care is provided.
The role requires an enthusiastic 'people person' who is able to adapt their approach to achieve positive outcomes.
The role also involves undertaking duty tactical commander shifts across the 24 hour shift pattern.
The Operations Manager is required to hold a Masters degree qualification or have equivalent experience in a relevant discipline of management and required to be a registered Paramedic.
