Planning and preparing courses – preparing lesson plans and schemes of work. Selecting learning materials and a range of learning methods to meet the learner’s needs.

Supporting learners – Assessing learners’ previous learning experiences and achievements, providing them with appropriate advice and guidance, and ensuring learners are aware of their progression routes.
