An opportunity has arisen at Claygate Primary School for a reliable and flexible School Caretaker to join our team, who is keen to make a difference and assist with maintaining the premises and grounds to a high standard.
Job overview
As a key part of our site team, you’ll have responsibility for general site maintenance, using a varied skillset to carry out tasks such as cleaning, refilling consumables, painting and decorating, DIY and manual handling, as well as ensuring the site is in a good condition for all to work and learn effectively.
Job requirements
Minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, or equivalent qualifications
Good standard of maintenance and DIY experience with an understanding of health and safety parameters
Experience of working within an operational environment to provide day-to-day maintenance support
Ability to prioritise and plan own workload
