An opportunity has arisen for an eProcurement Catalogue Manager within Guy's and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic person with a background in Procurement or Supply Chain to join our team. This role is integral in providing a well-organised catalogue management solution to our Trust-wide & Shared Service customers. The team oversee the accuracy of product data, negotiate pricing/savings for non-contracted items and ensure all products represent value for money. Working within the parameters of internal and external regulations, the catalogue manager will deliver professional customer serving and advice.
The purpose of the role is to maintain and manage an accurate catalogue data and delivery of cost reduction from negotiating price agreements for suppliers not subject to formal contract.
The post holder is responsible for the overall management of supplier catalogues for each Trust within the shared service.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the Trust values, and the responsibilities of the job description and the person
specification.
Responsible as the Shared service Trust Catalogue manager operating within broad policies and procedures for the effective management
of the supplier; These includes -
Ensuring that all catalogue update activity aligns with the calendar of supplier catalogue/ price agreement expiry dates
ensuring that price data remains active at all;
Processing all catalogue price agreements with suppliers in the member Trusts purchase order systems in line with the
operations policies and procedures;
Resolving all price queries relating to catalogue orders, updating the relevant systems, supplier and team;
Developing and maintaining catalogue protocols and policies across the member Trust and by external;
Responsible for all tests/trials/evaluation of catalogue systems ensuring that all standards of the service are met at all;
Reviewing purchase order spend report to add more items to the catalogue in line for operating procedures and policies;
Working at a very high level of speed and accuracy in the management of the Shared Service catalogues;
Preparing of all catalogue contract documents analysing statistical information across suppliers;
Validating and analysing data received from Identifying price and other variances such as supplier performance/ lead
times and making recommendations to the relevant Sourcing Manager;
Planning / coordinating and implementation of member Trust wide supplier catalogues, ensuring that all operational timelines are met;
Adjust and amend all plans to align with the relevant portfolio strategy. This involves working to various discrete portfolio teams;
Communicating with all financial and procurement regulations related to catalogues to managers at all levels across the organisation and external bodies including when required.
