Summary
Stairlift Fitter / Engineer
Leodis Stairlifts Limited are looking for an experienced Stairlift or Electrical Engineer to train as a Stairlift Engineer covering a route across the Northeast area.
As a Stairlift Fitter / Engineer at Leodis Stairlifts, you will play a vital role in keeping our customers moving independently in their own homes which is a passion of ours.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team where you will be responsible for installation, servicing, and repair of Stairlifts within domestic dwellings and residential settings.

Our ideal candidate would be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Stairlift Maintenance or equivalent. Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge as well as demonstrable experience working within the stairlift Industry. We would also consider applicants with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude that would be willing to undergo training and up-skilling into the industry.
All our Electrical Engineers are equipped with a company van therefore a valid UK driving licence is essential for this role.
After a period of training, approx 4 weeks, you will be required to join our on-call rota and in return, you will receive a competitive standby allowance and call-out payment of £400 for each week you are on-call, on top of a competitive base salary.
Responsibilities:
Installation of our various Stairlift models
Servicing, minor repairs and call out / breakdown visits.
Ensure a high standard of service and customer care is maintained.
Completion of job cards via our app-based software.
Requirements:
NVQ level 2 in Stairlift Maintenance or equivalent is desirable.
Excellent mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.

Leodis Stairlifts have been established for over 30 years and specialise in the installation, servicing, and repairs of all types of Stairlifts. We believe in ‘sensible’ working hours so typically 8am–4.30pm Monday to Friday (albeit due to the nature of the role some flexibility will be needed) as well as being a part of our ’24-hour Emergency Breakdown Call Out’ team 1 week in 3/4, once you are fully trained.
Whilst in training you will be provided with accommodation.
Due to continuing growth, we are looking for an additional experienced Stairlift Fitters / Engineers with bags of initiative and a positive ‘can do’ attitude to join our friendly team.
