Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEND Operations Manager to lead the strategic development and day-to-day management of our SEND provision. This non-teaching role involves overseeing SEND policies, supporting staff, and ensuring the highest standards of support and intervention are provided to our SEND students, with the ultimate goal of raising their achievement across all schools.
About you:
- National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination / NPQ SEND
- Teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS)
- Degree or equivalent
- SENCO Advanced Certificate (desirable)
- Patoss AAA Course completion (desirable)
Preferred Skills:
- Proven experience in managing SEND provision and achieving outstanding results for SEND students.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teaching staff.
- Experience working in partnership with parents and the wider community, particularly in challenging environments.
- In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusion, with the ability to address these effectively.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and lead.
