Job title: EC&I Commissioning Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 2 years
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Depending on experience
Location: Seascale/Rosyth - Rosyth Preferred, Travel required however expenses will be paid
Hours of work: Up to 40 hours Mon-Thursday
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Commissioning background
- 3-5 years of experience
- City & Guilds in electrical trade or higher level qualification
- Experience working on a nuclear licensed site ideal
Role information:
- Carry out installation, configuration, validation and work package development at startup
- Sequence and resource requirements for assigned areas of responsibility
- Prepare start up work packages and test work packages
- Liaise with field engineering teams to support component/system turnover
- Initiate requisitions for field purchases
- Prepare quantity take-offs for field purchased materials and equipment
- Monitor testing of equipment to ensure conformance with test procedures
- Ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to
