Based in J3 Business Park, Doncaster our Head Office staff provide support to the projects in the following areas: Finance and Payroll, Human Resources, HSQES, Work Winning, Procurement and Fleet. We have a great opportunity for a Quality Improvement Manager to be engaged on a one year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave in our HSQES Department.
You will be responsible for :
Analyse the effectiveness of the process enhancements identified in the management system to drive continual improvement, and report these to the Head of Quality Systems.
Design, Implement and manage robust systems to enable the capture of costs attributed to non-conformance to understand true cost of quality, and report these to the Head of Quality Systems.
Assist the Head of Quality Systems in changing the emphasis in quality focus to front-end process from a reactive audit/inspection culture.
Participate in the Third Party assessment of the company's IMS.
Develop, manage and implement the Internal Audit and Supplier Audit Plan
Carry out Internal audits and inspections of VolkerRail activities ensuring items requiring attention are resolved with responsible managers and recorded on the audit database
Carry out Supplier audits in line with the supplier audit plan to ensure VR's key suppliers can demonstrate their compliance to legal and contractual requirements.
Provide a line management role to the quality & improvement team
Alerting the Head of Quality Systems to any non-conformance or deficiency in quality, materials, services or workmanship.
About you
Level 3 diploma in Quality Management
Internal Auditor
PTS
Lead Auditor
Level 3 Diploma in Quality Management Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Management
Minimum experience in Rail/Construction
Experience in Quality Management
Full Driving Licence
