Contract: Full Time, Permanent Location: Loughborough, LE12 5QW with frequent travel between MOD Garats Hay and The National Rehabilitation Centre Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £28,000 per year
   Within VIVO we are currently recruiting for a Multi Trade Operative who will successfully deliver low valuable billable works and a selection of non skilled planned maintenance to single accommodation military buildings and hospitals on MOD Garats Hay and the National Rehabilitation Centre.   You will be delivering low value and billable works such as inspecting fire hydrants, testing fire alarms and attending small maintenance tasks and minor repairs to buildings, for example fixing a door lock or changing a toilet seat.

Starting at home with your provided work van, you will be scheduled your works on a provided PDA across the sites as required, and will work independently to complete these to a good quality in the set time scales whilst also self scheduling any reactive works that get assigned to you.

It is important that jobs are undertaken and completed in line with all health and safety regulations.

You will use smart phones, tablets and laptops as part of your role to receive maintenance jobs and update on their progress.

What you’ll need to do this role    
First and foremost, you will need previous experience in a handyperson or maintenance role. It is desirable that you have building or construction experience.
Ideally you will come from a mixed commercial and domestic background, and be used to working to tight timescales and to a high standard.
You will require a full UK Driving License as there is frequent travel with this role.
You must be able to pass SC Clearance and have a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role.
