We are seeking a talented Web Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. You will be responsible for designing the overall layout and aesthetic of websites, ensuring that they are visually appealing and user-friendly.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualize creative ideas with clients and collaborate with the development team to design websites.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
Develop and maintain the front-end layout for websites and ensure consistency in visuals and functionality.
Design sample pages including colors and fonts.
Test and improve the design of the website.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Maintain the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
Incorporate functionalities and features into websites.
Prepare design plans and present the website structure.
Create visual concepts that match the content and the image wanted by the clients but that fit in the company’s global image.
Ensure web design is responsive and optimized for various devices and platforms.
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
Work with product owners and end-users to clarify specifications and get feedback.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure system coherence and scalability.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies.
Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and UX/UI principles.
Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop).
Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
Solid understanding of responsive design principles.
Experience with applicable software, systems, and processes including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
