Crynodeb
To support the Insight Team through the provision of high quality information analysis provided through advanced technical skills. Main responsibilities include extracting and analysing patient activity data, relating to the Trust and to support clinical teams and meet the Trust requirements. The essence of the role is to process and analyse data to assist Trust decision making, modelling and monitoring i.e. to turn data into business intelligence.
The post holder will play a key role in providing a specialist function to collate, validate, manage, analyse, interpret and present information from a variety of sources which supports the delivery of effective clinical services.
The post holder will work with other senior members of the team in assessing the impact of changes to the NHS information agenda and in efficiently implementing agreed solutions in a rapidly changing environment. The ability to work as a flexible team member is essential.
· To participate in local and national benchmarking by ensuring data is sourced and available as required on the national benchmarking site.
· To undertake quarterly routine reporting, such as SOM and ELT, as and when required.
· To provide support for routine performance monitoring.
· Support senior business analysts in undertaking demand and capacity modelling when needed.
· To liaise with external and internal teams in the collation and provision of data and data analysis.
· To centrally create and make available detailed and highly accurate reports and analyses of clinical data sets to a range of clinical services staff and managers across the Division.
· To make use of appropriate reporting systems, currently including Power BI and MS Excel.
· To continually develop, design and refine reporting frameworks to support the needs of the Trust.
