Summary
An exciting opportunity for an aviation base maintenance planner to join a world-renowned airline on a permanent basis at Heathrow.
This opportunity will entail coordinating all aircraft maintenance activities in the UK's busiest airport, ensuring the best use of hangars, manpower, and components.
The role will involve working on-site at Heathrow from Monday to Friday with a 40 hour working week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex base maintenance plans covering large areas of the business.
- Coordinate resources, tooling, and engineering manpower to maximise efficiency and mitigate downtime.
- Respond quickly to ad-hoc maintenance requirements to reduce aircraft delays.
- Enact a cost effectiveness approach to planning.
- Data reporting and analysis of maintenance activities to improve effectiveness.
Experience Required:
- Essential previous experience in aircraft base maintenance planning, ideally on behalf of a large aviation organisation with a high number of live aircraft.
- Knowledge of EASA regulations including Part - M and Part - 145.
- Demonstrable aircraft knowledge, ideally supported by an Aerospace Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree.
The successful candidate will have full working rights within the UK and will be able to pass a DBS and referencing background check.
