We are looking to recruit a committed enabler to support a 8 year old young boy who has a diagnosis of autism. The support will be offered to provide a range of activities within the local community to include walks in the park, countryside, and woodlands. On occasions drives out in the car. Main Duties

4 hours per week in 7 weeks of the school hols and then increase to 8 hours per week in the Summer 6 weeks only.

· To build a secure relationship with the young boy and his family· To encourage interactions appropriate to the activities being accessed· To prompt the young boy with toileting needs when required· To administer medication if required and full training will be provided Essential Criteria · Have a high degree of initiative. · Be punctual and reliable.· Be flexible. · Have a happy positive caring nature. · Have an outgoing personality.Rates of pay£16.41 per hour. 5.6 weeks holiday (pro rata)Out of pocket expenses will be met by the Employer. This post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and references (Cost to be met by Employer). Car driver is essential and must have Business Insurance.
