You will join a not-for-profit, charitable, registered provider of social and affordable housing, with stock of over 4,800 properties located throughout Cornwall. Your new role
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Energy Efficiency Lead who will work in partnership with the Property Services Manager for energy, playing a major role in delivering an energy investment programme. You will ensure property energy data is collected and accurately processed, producing effective and deliverable value for money programmes of work, procuring contractors and monitoring and reporting on progress of contractors and sub-contractors delivering the energy programmes.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the energy manager to upgrade all qualifying Ocean properties to an EPC C rating by 2030 and to net zero by 2050.
- Ensuring all incoming EPC and energy data is accurate.
- Carry out retrofit assessments and support the team as required by carrying out surveys.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to hold a degree in building surveying or equivalent, alongside a retrofit coordinator or retrofit assessor qualification. In addition, ou will need to have significant experience of domestic energy assessments, experience advising on energy efficiency, environmental impact, and sustainable construction and you will have a good understanding of current energy investment measures to social homes.
