Summary
Key Responsibilities for the Role:
• Producing 2D building services drawings using AutoCAD
• 2D content creation (blocks)
• Producing 3D building services models using Revit
• Follow CAD standards
• Printing drawings
• Producing 3D building services models using Revit
• Uploading drawings and models to file share sites
• Providing support to the CAD team
• Keeping directory of drawings up to date and documented.
• Downloading manufacturers BIM content and updating our BIM
library.
Software Systems Used:
• Autocad
• Revit
• Rapport
• Word
• Excel
• Powerpoint
Training
As
part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a nationally recognised Digital Engineering Technician Level 3 standard via our training partner,
Learning Skills Partnership . Your Apprenticeship typically takes 27 months to
complete and is fully supported through a combination of regular online
lessons, e-learning materials, and access to their team of experts for 1-2-1
advice and support.
Qualifications required
Applicants must possess at least 5 GCSEs, including minimum grade 4/C+ in Maths and
English.
Skills required
Background knowledge of AutoCAD is desired but not essential
Background knowledge of Construction/Building Service is desired but not essential
Able to multitask and work in a deadline orientated environment
