Crynodeb
Maintaining a safe environment at all times. Ensuring the general tidiness of the unit, including clinical rooms and dialysis preparation areas. Providing light refreshments for patients as required. Answering telephone calls and being willing to learn how to use available information technology. Not holding the drug keys as part of their responsibilities. Requesting, sampling and labelling blood samples under the direction of a registered nurse. (Venepuncture training isnota requirement due to the method of sampling) Monitoring and ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment on the ward, including appropriate cleaning and storage. Reporting any equipment faults through the appropriate channels. Adhering to all trust policies and procedures.
