Job title: Multi Skilled Engineer

Pay rate: £19.34 an hour, weekly pay

Location: Kingston upon Thames, KT6 area

Contract: Temp, 6 months, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Job description:

  • Provide maintenance at the student accommodation sites in Kingston upon Thames
  • Provide initial response to all Reactive Maintenance requests during normal working hours and Out of Hours as part of the On-call Out of Hours Rota. A company van will be provided for use to travel to and from the site as needed (excludes personal use)
  • Undertake replacements of electrical appliances and fittings as needed
  • Quarterly shower head & hose cleaning in accordance with L8 requirements (full training will be provided)
  • Monthly temperature monitoring of Hot & Cold water systems
  • Continuous monitoring and maintenance of mechanical systems, fittings and plant rooms

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring (DBS) check.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role essential
  • Suitable Electrical qualification (minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
  • Physically fit as a considerable amount of walking is required around site
  • Full UK driving licence
