CTCCU are looking for enthusiastic, motivated nurses to join our dynamic team. CTCCU is a 21 bedded unit providing level two and three care to patients following cardiac, major aortic and thoracic surgery, and to those with acute cardiac medical conditions. CTCCU is a challenging, exciting and supportive environment which will facilitate the ongoing advancement of your specialist critical care skills. There are opportunities to develop skills in invasive and non-invasive modes of ventilation and weaning, the use of ventricular assist devices, cardiac output monitoring and haemofiltration. Additionally, acute arrhythmia management advanced ECG interpretation, management of IABP therapy as well as active participation in the PPCI service are the opportunities you will experience when nursing the cardiac medical patients on the unit.
