Pay Rate: Competitive Market Rate

Hours per week: 37 hours per week

Contract Length: Initially 18 months

Location: Reading, West Berkshire – hybrid 2 days in the office and 3 days WFH

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Management & SRM Process to provide technical expertise in supply chain processes, systems, governance, and business reporting. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contract terms, ensuring compliance with contractual, legislative, and regulatory requirements, as well as conducting data analytics and market intelligence to identify opportunities for savings and efficiencies. You will also be responsible for producing standard and bespoke business reports and analysis, along with material for functional performance metrics and reviews.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and a keen eye for identifying and managing risks and opportunities within their area of accountability. You will develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, promoting awareness of the Supply Chain Management function.

Key accountabilities:

Supply chain processes, systems, governance and business reporting.
Draft and negotiate contract terms, ensuring compliance with contractual, legislative and regulatory requirements.
Data analytics and Market Intelligence.
Realise opportunities for savings and efficiencies.
Provision of standard and bespoke business reports, analysis etc and material for functional performance metrics and reviews.
Identification and management of risks and opportunities within area of accountability.
Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and promoting awareness of the Commercial function.
Work closely and ensure alignment with the Category Management and Procurement Operations teams.



Key requirements:

Commercial Knowledge and Supplier Relationship management
Reporting capability primarily from P2P systems
Knowledge of Defence sector or public sector
Support implementation of frameworks
Strong Understanding of Supplier Relationship Management
