Crynodeb

A full-time vacancy has arisen for a Control Room Operator working at our Preston campus. The post holder will be required to work 2 x 12 hour days, followed by 2 x 12 hour nights, followed by 4 x rest periods on a rotating shift basis. Allowances are paid for working outside the normal working pattern.
We require the post holder to provide a high quality, customer focused service as part of a team, complying with relevant legislation and providing meticulous record keeping. Use of IT equipment, and ensuring information is clearly and accurately maintained are essential to this role. The post holder also needs to be a good communicator with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and maintain confidentiality, as appropriate. The position requires a self-motivated individual who can remain calm under pressure. English and Maths GCSE or equivalent are essential requirements and previous employment in a security or CCTV setting is desirable.
We are therefore looking for candidates who have the ability to learn and adapt to changes in procedures and technology, with good observation skills, high levels of concentration and keen attention to detail.
Candidates need to meet all the essential requirements to be considered for interview. The position is based at the Preston Campus.
