Qualifications: Quantity Surveying qualification - HNC or higher
Skills: Commercial Awareness, minimum of 1 year experience in a commercial role for a construction business
Job Description:
A respected and award-winning Construction Business based in Sheffield is currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a Residential site with the support of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum, along with a generous benefits package. Additionally, flexible working hours and the option to work from home after a 6-month probation period will be offered.
Job Duties:
• Conduct cost analysis and maintain cost control throughout projects
• Provide support in managing project budgets and financial reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
• Assist in the assessment of variations and claims
Required Qualifications:
- Quantity Surveying qualification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in relevant software tools
