As an HR Data and Governance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing, maintaining, and improving headcount cost reporting. You will collate, analyse, and enhance HR data across the People Function, contributing to the development of business-wide HR data systems.

- £35,000 per annum
- Based at our Liverpool Head Office
- 28 days paid holiday per annum, rising to 33 days upon 5 years’ service (inclusive of bank holidays)

- Cost tracking and reporting of headcount cost data – including preparation of costs for board updates.
- Central accountability in the People function for maintenance and governance of all terms, conditions and shift patterns – with accurate calculation of shift patterns into worked time and pay, ensuring these are clearly communicated across the function to relevant stakeholders.
- Identification and addressing of anomalies found in data analysis – working with HRBP’s to inform of anomalies identified, tracking through to resolution and amendment.
- Data mapping across various systems in terms of pay / T&C’s – UKG Dimensions; KV; ATS
- Lead role in people projects that involve HR data, e.g. development of scheduling & time and attendance systems; dashboard & MI reporting.
- Development and improvement of HR / People data to improve quality of data and MI reporting
- Improvement in data management processes – reducing manual handling of data through HR and costs tracking
- Support overall governance of HR headcount data, structure charts and job profiles – tracking where we have profiles against current roles and where we have gaps
- Development and maintenance of a job profile library.
- Supporting line managers with the development of job profiles.
- Support the Senior Reward Manager with Organisation Change proposals – such as preparing Organisational Structures, existing people data lists and impact assessments.
- Significant experience working with HR data and systems, including system development
- Experience working in a HR function – liaising directly with business managers
- Degree in IT, Maths, Business Administration or related subject (desirable)
- Excellent IT skills – with advanced Excel skills.
- Highly numerate with the ability to undertake calculations of large financial volume
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize a varied workload
- Confidence to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and to contribute to business wide project meetings
