Summary
Plasterers are skilled craftspeople who apply decorative finishes and plaster to interior and exterior walls and ceilings. They work on both new and old buildings, and their work is critical in producing smooth, even surfaces that are both durable and aesthetically pleasing.
Tasks required by this job include:
Clean, repair, and prime surfaces in preparation for plastering.
Using trowels, floats, and spraying equipment, mix and apply plaster to walls and ceilings.
Using a variety of techniques, create decorative textures and finishes.
Install ornamental precast plaster work, such as cornices and trim.
Repair and upkeep of damaged plasterwork
