At Bath & North East Somerset Council we have one overriding purpose – to improve people’s lives.
Based Pixash Lane Keynsham and able to work between the sites.
Working at the Council's waste & recycling centres and waste transfer station, you will be driving all pieces of plant
You will be responsible for ensuring the safe receipt, storage and onward transport of waste and recycling from the public recycling centres and transfer stations to final designated disposal points.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work as part of a team to maximise recycling rates. Confident in helping members of the public on site, you will also participate in the training and supervision of other staff members.
It is essential that you have Basic Maths and English skills. You may also be required to cover other work within the overall waste & cleansing operational service as necessary.
