The Team
The University has invested millions of pounds in new sport facilities. The YSJ Active Facility Supervisor will be central to ensuring that these facilities, and the professionals who work in them, have a significant positive impact on students, staff, the local community and our commercial partners.
The role will assist in the development of YSJActive as a recognised professional provider of sport, exercise and well being in the university and the community. The role will be the first point of contact for customers to the sport facilities, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained across our service.
Required Skills and Experience
It is essential that the postholder has experience of common reception duties and experience of dealing with customers. Experience of working in the Health and Fitness industry is preferred, however we welcome applications from applicants with experience from other sectors. This role requires solely evening work and one day per weekend. It also requires significant physical activity in terms of lifting, carrying, setting up and taking down of sports and exercise equipment.
Shift Pattern as follows:
Tuesday 6.30-10.30pm
Thursday 6-10.30pm
Sunday 8am-9.30pm (inc 1 hour lunch break)
