The details
Job Title: Food Production Operative
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm
Location: North Curry, nr Taunton, Somerset
Salary: £13.00 per hour (£487 per week)
Duration: Temp to perm
The job
You will be working in a food production environment for a well established, family business, based on the outskirts of Taunton / Langport.
Duties will include;
- Following personal hygiene and food safety procedures
- Ensuring high standards of food quality by measuring and weighing ingredients as per recipes
- Packing, slicing and dicing high-volume product to customer specification
- Keeping the production running at optimum speed within a team
- Completing paperwork correctly
- Assembling ingredients into finished products, and maintaining clean and tidy working areas
Important!
- You will be working with and directly handling raw and cooked chicken
- Production / manufacturing experience is not required
- You will need your own transport due to the rural location
- Free on-site parking
- Training and career progression available
